We want to setup the shipping rate by subzone for the UK. We need to this based on the product groups
if Group A → subzone 1 → rate = 40
Group B → subzone → rate = 50
We run into two:
1: We need different product ships to the same subzone with different price. We have tried many Shopify shipping app they mentioned to not use the same zipcode twice.
2: When different product group are in the cart & group A rates are different set then we need the higher rate.
If anyone can know how to resolve this, please let me know.

Generally speaking, having 2 or more post codes in more than one Sub-Zone causes a lot of over charges or charges that should not display.
A way to workaround that would be to create the Subzones as needed within the UK (keeping it one post code per zone), and create a rule that looks for product tags. When the group A or Group B products are in the cart, the shipping price can be either added together, the highest rate to display or average even. This can be created with either a rate-blend or shipping rules that when the most expensive product group is in the cart, that rate is displayed.
