I created a flat shipping fee. I use Economy Shipping and i input $11. My website is charging people $22. I do not understand, any body have any ideas why this is happening?
Do you have several locations? Does order include items from two locations?

That sounds like an urgent concern. This issue usually happens when two shipping charges are being applied at the same time.
Here are the most common reasons. I’ll list them out for you:
- Duplicate shipping rates – You may have two $11 rates set up in the same shipping zone, so Shopify adds them and shows $22.
- Multiple shipping profiles – If the products in the cart belong to different shipping profiles, Shopify charges each one separately.
- App-created shipping rules – Dropshipping, POD, or subscription apps often create their own shipping rates without it being obvious.
- Per-item shipping – If the rate is set per item instead of per order, two items = $22.
