More than three months ago my shop was closed unexpectedly after my first sale. I made a profit from the sale and I was excited for my store to keep kick off. About a day after the sale, my shop was closed and I lost access to everything online. After dealing with the customer service and trying to get an answer for why my shop was closed, I was left with more questions. So I said okay fine, I just won’t do business with Shopify anymore and now I just want the money I made from the sale. But since the shop was closed and I lost access to my store, I can’t retrieve or access the funds. So I reached out to customer service again and I was told the funds will be held in a reserve for 120 days. It is now 127 days and I have spoken with 3 different customer service people who cannot help me and keep telling me they are creating tickets and talking to other Shopify people above them but still no resolution. I am getting so frustrated with this and at this point I am considering legal action if this can’t be resolved in the next few weeks. There is no customer service telephone number or email. It is impossible to speak with anyone higher than the customer service representatives and this business is a scam to small business owners.
