Trying to connect facebook account to shopify. In the past I had another shopify account, but it is now complete deleted(on shopify, facebook)
In shop, if I connect my facebook account it will show my old shop business manager account (it does not exist - deleted) it lets me connect and if I actually press on it - it takes me to the current business manager where my facebook page is. So apart from showing wrong business manager account it somehow finds this correct facebook page.
Then if I connect this facebook page it says that it is on another business manager and I have to move page to that - of course I cannot transfer anything as this is one and same account here, just different name and just trows out error that I do not have admin for it. ( I definitely do).
I have been in contact with shopify support, but all I got send me screenshot of the page roles page so far (for past 2 weeks or so).
You must have the page under the same business manager that you are trying to link.
Do you have admin access to the Facebook business manager that owns page? if yes then you can fix this easily otherwise you will to claim ownership of the page first and it may take sometime to be fixed.
I see, but you still didn’t anwser my question, if you don’t have admin access to the Facebook business manager that owns your page means that technically you are not the owner, so you should get owner access to be able to link your page correctly with Shopify.
