Shopify 2.0 Dawn theme aligning all page content to the bottom

Hi everyone, I’m running the latest version of Dawn.

Site: https://kingdom-cards-uk.myshopify.com/
Pass: royaltea

The whole contents of my pages are aligning with the bottom of the page and sticking near the bottom, when they should be at the top, aligning with the header. I’ve attached a screenshot to show what I mean in case my description isn’t very clear.

Is there a fix for this as it is slowly driving me insane haha.

Thanks so much for your help!

Hey @Luke_Firth ,

I just took a look at your website and it appears your product pages are aligning correctly:

Did you manage to resolve this issue? I’d be curious to know if we can isolate what you’re seeing to your device or browser. Would you mind testing a few things for me?

  • Clear your cache and cookies - When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.
  • Ensure your browser is up to date.
  • Try an Incognito window
  • Try another browser (e.g. Safari).
  • Try completing the same steps on your phone, using data rather than WiFi.

Looking forward to hearing how that goes!

@Luke_Firth

We have checked for this issue in real system and browserstack but it is working ok. In which system configuration or browser you are checking?

Hi Moira

I’ve followed all the steps above but unfortunately the problem still persists - it’s more noticeable on pages without much content. I have attached a screenshot of the ‘delivery info’ page (link in footer) to show.

The problem isn’t there on mobile, but I think that might be because the footer expands beyond the size of the screen so there isn’t empty space to compensate on there?

Thanks

Luke

I’m using Google Chrome, but have tried Edge also (and incognito windows) but the problem still persists. My monitors are 1440p and 4k resolutions if that makes a difference?

Thanks

Hi Moira - did you have chance to look at this at all? The issue unfortunately still persists.

I’m unsure what you mean?

@Luke_Firth

Hey @Luke_Firth ,

Thank you @Luke_Firth for sharing your monitor specs etc, I think you are on the right track as I had no trouble with the alignment until I zoomed out / changed the ratio of my screen. See below:

We will need to take a look into your themes javascript. I will let you know the outcome!

Hi,

Same issue on our website. The issue seems to be the CSS grid attached to - it spaces out the sections evenly until the content in the tag grows.

Have you found any fix for that?
