Yes I am having the exact same issue! We have been looking to expand beyond our Etsy store so I created a trial account and purchased a domain. I spent that first evening familiarizing myself with the admin console and the next morning got a notice that my account was terminated for violating the acceptable use policy. I have no idea what I could have possibly done to violate any policy at all.
Since then, my account has been locked and I am unable to get my domain transferred. I appealed the termination decision and have spent hours with the chat support over the last 3 weeks and have gotten nowhere. I get told that the issue is escalated but have received no response. It honestly feels like Shopify has stolen my domain.
Same here, any luck? I’m a week in with no results from the chat support team. They can only escalate the situation for an email response from someone higher up. Still no email! I don’t understand how they expect you to run a business with such a long downtime!
