Shopify Analytics is not working (also messing up our meta pixel data)

Our shopify analytics dashboard is completely messed up for the last two weeks.

First it only seemed to track some sessions that actually converted (bringing our conversion super high to >30-60%), then it stopped tracking even the conversions (we’d have 10 orders and 0% CR), now it just seems to randomly track some (very little) stuff and no others. In 99% of the orders we cannot see a Conversion Summary.

Now our Meta pixel also can’t seem to track conversions anymore (only landing page views).

We are completely lost and blind on which ads to kill/scale and how to run our store.

Is somebody able to share a code snippet for shopify analytics pixel tracking we can code again in the (product)page or experienced this before?

Ive had the same issue pretty much! did you get any support on this?

Hey! Absolutely had no support - but we figured it out eventually.

Seemed to have been the privacy cookie banner. We set it up as ‘automated’ by shopify again and now analytics is running correctly again.

oh wow awesome , I might give it a try! So you just use all cookie settings with Shopify and all returned to normal? No extra apps?
