Hey everyone. As you guys likely know, Shopify Stores can connect to YouTube so products can be displayed. I have around 600+ products in my shop store, but only around 50 are being sent to YouTube.
I could not find any information anywhere regarding my issue. Does Shopify have a limit on the number of products it sends to a YouTube Channel? Does 50 sound normal, or should all my products be listed? My channel has 120k subs and meets all the requirements. I connected the Store and products are flowing, but since only 50+ are being sent to YouTube, I wonder if there is a threshold limit.

That’s strange that all your products are not being sent to YouTube as there is no limit. Since YouTube Shopping is managed by the Google Channel, have you marked the missing products as available to Google?
The first area I would check is if the products are approved for Google Shopping, as they need to be approved and available in Google to be available in YouTube. Simply head to your Shopify Admin and select Google Channel and check the status of your products. Once here, please take a screenshot and upload it in your reply so we can have a look.
In the meantime, what is your channel niche? Are you selling merch, products, or both? I would love to learn more to see how else we can assist.
Hello. We only have Google Adsense running and do not sell any merch, but we are enrolled in super chats and channel memberships. We just setup a new site for Shopify and Youtube, since we have a legacy account, and we can only attach a weird channel ID number for the intergration between YouTube and Shopify.
Currently 250 products are on Google Merchant Center, and another 500+ are pending, but these new products that have been approved are not on YouTube under Shopify.
I do apologize but I am not sure I understand your set up. Are you referring to having a legacy YouTube account? If so, you would need to reach out to YouTube Creator Support for assistance as this sounds like the issue is coming from your YouTube account, not the Shopify integration.
Additionally, for your products to be listed in YouTube shopping they need to be out of the pending state in Google and listed as approved. Can you head to your Shopify Admin > Google Channel and provide a screenshot of the products’ status?
