I’ve run into a 401 error code on a specific machine when using the Shopify CLI when accessing the preview after running the server initialization using Shopify App Dev. I’ve tried using different partner accounts on the Shopify CLI but logging in and out of each one on the CLI. I do not get 401 errors on other machines when following the same process of access the preview after running the Shopify App Dev command on the CLI.

What could be causing for a specific machine to 401 on its access of the preview while other machines that are tested are able to access the preview just fine? It doesn’t seem to be an account issue or a credential issue as I’ve ensured the env variables are the exact same across both machines.

I’ve created projects from scratch using the CLI and also used tried and tested apps and both cases cause for a 401 error.

Did you try checking the Shopify CLI package version by running
shopify --version
and comparing it between the machines, along with the Node.js package?

That unfortunately didn’t work. I used NVM to ensure that the node versions were the exactly same and the shopify CLI versions are also the same as well.
