Does anyone know of a Shopify app that can import or syndicate existing product reviews from a manufacturer/supplier onto the corresponding products in our store, ideally for free or at a relatively low monthly cost?
We sell a number of products through Shopify Collective/dropshipping, so in many cases the manufacturer already has hundreds of legitimate reviews on their own website while the exact same product starts at zero reviews on our storefront.
Ideally, I’m looking for something that could:
Link one of our products/variants to the same product on the manufacturer’s website
Import or periodically sync its existing reviews
Work with Shopify Collective products, but not necessarily be limited to Collective
Pull reviews from the manufacturer’s site directly if there’s no formal integration, assuming we have permission to use them
Clearly label imported reviews with something like “Review sourced from manufacturer” or “Originally posted on [Manufacturer]”
Keep our own reviews separate or otherwise distinguish between reviews submitted directly to our store and syndicated reviews
I’m not looking to pass manufacturer reviews off as reviews originally submitted to our store. The source would be clearly disclosed. I’m mainly trying to avoid every dropshipped/Collective product starting from zero social proof when the manufacturer already has substantial legitimate review history for the exact same SKU.
Are there any inexpensive apps that already do this well? Most review apps I’ve found seem focused on importing from AliExpress/Amazon, migrating reviews from another review platform, or collecting new reviews rather than syndicating reviews from an authorized supplier/manufacturer.
I would separate this into syndication versus a one-time import before choosing an app. Most review apps can import a structured CSV; very few can safely keep scraping a supplier site, and Shopify Collective does not automatically transfer review rights or review data.
For one test SKU, ask the manufacturer which review platform they use and whether they can provide an authorized CSV/API export. Then verify five things: SKU/barcode mapping, rating/text/date fields, visible source attribution, separation from your own reviews, and what happens when the supplier edits or removes a review. If there is no authorized export or feed, a scraper will be fragile and may create consent/terms issues even when the products are identical.
Which review platform does the manufacturer use, and can they provide a CSV or API feed? Also, do the manufacturer and retailer products share the same SKU/barcode? Those answers will narrow this to an existing importer or a small mapping job.
One thing worth settling before you pick an app: whether imported reviews should feed your product’s star markup, or just sit on the page as labelled text. Most Shopify review apps write the JSON-LD aggregate rating themselves and fold every review in their database into it, so syndicated manufacturer reviews quietly become your storefront’s rich-snippet stars. That is a different claim from the on-page attribution you’re planning. Worth asking whether the app can exclude a source from the markup, not only tag it visually. Not many can.
If it’s mainly the Collective SKUs, there’s a no-app version too: a product metafield holding a short summary of what buyers said on the manufacturer’s site, connected to a collapsible row in the product template. You lose star sorting and filtering, but you keep the social proof, and there’s nothing to sync or scrape.

Limitations
no scraping
No app safely and reliably auto-syncs reviews from a manufacturer’s own website. A scraper breaks whenever they change their page, and it raises consent/terms questions even for the same SKU.
Do one-time export: ask the manufacturer which review platform they use and for an CSV export.
Then in Judge .me use the Import Wizard. You map their columns (rating, title, body, reviewer name, date, photos) to Judge .me’s fields. CSV import is on the free plan.
If the manufacturer’s product is also on a marketplace

Labeling and keeping them separate
Judge .me has no built-in “sourced from manufacturer” badge. Two ways to disclose it: put “via [Manufacturer]” in the reviewer-name column of your CSV, or add a one-line source note at the top of each review body.
Imported reviews do not get Judge. me’s “Verified buyer” badge, so they are already visually distinct from reviews left on your store
Your Google stars
Judge .me folds every published review into your storefront’s star rating (the rich-snippet stars in Google).
Manufacturer site scraping isn’t really a solved product. The path that holds up is still an authorized CSV from whoever owns the reviews, then Judgeme’s import wizard since you already have it — map handle/SKU carefully and keep source attribution if they care about that.
