I have an issue with the app version of shopify (for phone or tablet). I log in to the Shopify App, go to the Products page and select a product to edit e.g. Necklace. Then from there, I scroll down to select Collections. All the collections exist and some are selected but they are blank. I can’t see the titles!
Shopify collections work when I log in on desktop / through an internet browser, so it’s an issue with the shopify app. We have tried it on Apple and Android (samsung) devices both still struggling with the same issue. I then thought it was a location issue? When visiting another country recently we signed into the shopify app and still no luck accessing collections. So its not our location!
I have done all device updates and adapted settings and that didnt help. I uninstalled unused shopify “apps” e.g. PLUG IN SEO and Tiny IMG and this made no difference. Tried the classic log out, uninstall and power the device off but nothing seems to help. This all started when Shopify updated a few weeks ago and moved the location of the “collections” (in the back end of the site) from the sales chanel section and it’s now in the content section.
So it’s an app issue, purely with collections. Its not geographical location, its not the devices (apple vs android), its not our shopify site in general as it all works fine when logging in on desktop / through an internet browser.
Any ideas or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks.
