I’m new to Shopify app development and submitted my app for review four days ago. The status still shows:
We're assigning a reviewer to your submission
May I know how long it usually take from Shopify to review an app.

Four days for that status is pretty normal, especially for a first submission or during busy periods. Shopify’s app review timelines can vary a lot, but generally, don’t expect it to be a quick process.
The “assigning a reviewer” stage itself can sometimes take a week or more, and then the actual review process once it’s assigned can take another week or two, sometimes longer if they find issues and you need to resubmit. I’ve seen some apps get through in a couple of weeks total, and others take over a month, especially if it’s a complex app or if there are holidays. Just be patient; there’s not really anything you can do to speed it up at this stage.

Hey there @asifide as the first reply already mentioned, from my experience apps tend to usually take weeks for a full review so there’s nothing to be worried about. Just keep working on what you can in the meantime while checking for updates.
