i am choosing the ₹20 × 3 months, then ₹1,994/month plan for my new shopify store.
But when i am connecting my card and upi, it is asking for 15,000 INR & 5,000 INR respectively for automatic payments.
If i accept the automatic payments, will it charge me the plan fees i.e. 1994 INR after 3 months or just after the 3 day free plan expires.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This does not sound correct, and our current offer for merchants in India is the one you’ve cited—₹20/month for first 3 months and then ₹1994/month thereafter when on the Basic plan. You should not be prompted for such a large upfront payment unless you are deciding to pay on an annual basis, but even then the total cost would be ₹17988.
Before paying, please contact our support team directly and ask that they check this for you. They can authenticate you on your account and make sure you are making the correct payment.
