Shopify benefits for Vape store

Hi. I am running a vape store in london. I have tried to contact support but couldnt understand the issue. As my website https://qualityvapes.ca/ is on shopify I want to make best use of it. Can someone help me as how can shopify prove to be more beneficial for my store. Shopify guys says they dont entertain vape stores. I need POS and stuff. Basically want to start the store for online. Currently its not online for shopping. So I need guidance.

there’s really not a lot anyone can do to help you. Your products go against the Shopify guidelines, so I’d recommend to check for a different POS provider. You can find more information and a list of prohibited products in this article.

Maybe have a look at Toast POS, Salesforce are similar services. You should quickly find a list of prohibited products for each service, to make sure you’re not wasting too much time with a service that doesn’t allow your products.

Even though Shopify Payments isn’t available for vape stores, you can still use Shopify for everything else — product listings, store design, inventory management, and even POS. The key is to use a third-party payment gateway that supports vape-related transactions. One option some vape and CBD merchants have used is

which works with Shopify and is built for these kinds of products.

For POS, Shopify’s hardware can still be used, but you’ll want to make sure your payment provider is compatible or work with a separate card reader alongside the Shopify POS app.

So in short:

  • You can use Shopify to run your vape store online.

  • You’ll just need to connect a compatible payment solution.

  • POS is still possible with some setup adjustments.
