Shopify bill payment failed but they took money from my account that exceeds the amount on the bill.

They took money from my bank account that exceeds the amount owed on the bill but in my Shopify setting>billing section it says that the bill failed. why? plus Shopify took out double the transactions from my bank for the month of April. I was charged double. why?

I would suggest checking if there were multiple failed billing attempts if so, Shopify will try to bill again and may aggregate past due charges so, you may be seen a higher amount or duplicate. If your Billing section still says you have a failed bill, there may be a brief syncing issue, or an unpaid bill that’s not yet fully processed. Also make sure you’re managing several stores, as there could be charges in each.
