Shopify - Bulk Discount Codes With Expiry

Hi all - would love some advice! I’m setting up a ManyChat flow to welcome new Instagram followers and offer them a special 25% discount code valid for 1 hour only but I want each person to receive a unique code that’s auto-generated when they interact.

Ideally:

  • The ManyChat message sends them to a private page on my Shopify store

  • That page generates a unique, one-time use discount code just for them

  • The code either expires in 1 hour

Has anyone set this up successfully using Shopify + ManyChat?
I’m open to apps or workarounds, just need it to be automated and low-maintenance once running. I’ve reached out to a few shopify apps but they said they can’t help.

My goal is to give each follower a personalised offer without manually creating discount codes for every person as I get a lot of new followers a day. Would love to hear what’s worked for others!

You want a custom discount system that also integrates with a fourth party.
That’s a custom automation, or full on custom app; especially if oauth is involved.
