My client has just started using the Shopify email service to reach customers with promotional offers and new product announcements. They noticed that test emails to domains other than gmail.com went through properly but any test emails to gmail.com never get delivered.
Customers who use gmail for their email accounts have mentioned that they are not seeing any emails of a promotional nature from the client but are receiving order confirmation emails properly.
The DMARC settings for the client domain have been entered per the available documentation and I set the DMARC string to send a confirmation email, every time DMARC is updated at a provider. Those emails are coming back to the client, so I believe that DMARC is set up properly.
Does anyone have any suggestions why bulk emails to the gmail.com domain are not getting through. The client sending email address has been validated in Shopify.
Thank you
