I have some very disgruntled store owners who have waited alot time for the Shopify Bundle App, spent hours setting up all of the products only to find out that you can not tag the products in Instagram.
It seems very strange, almost insane that the bundle product wouldn’t act as a regular product for syncing / tagging
Is there any traction on this, or expected lead time?
Hey, when I spoke to Shopify Support, they said it wasn’t possible… but would suggest it to development. I am so surprised they would release an app where you can’t sync products to social channels and not mention it. It’s not great that I have suggested to so many clients, and now we have this issue. If I’d know, I wouldn’t of suggested the app.
Is this still an issue? I am having a heck of a time getting a straight answer from support chat, and I can’t find much other info that has been helpful in any way.
We also had this problem with a client of ours recently. Surprisingly, bundle products aren’t included in the feed when using Meta’s standard “Facebook & Instagram” Shopify sales channel app.
The solution is to use an alternative app to generate your product feed for Meta.
We had success using Mulwi feeds, so I’d definitely recommend trying that.
when Shopify team will fix this issue of not being able to add Bundles via Facebook & Instagram channels? also when the catalog is created by Shopify, is not possible to add manual products… so basically is Useless. @shopify
Totally understand the frustration — this is a common limitation with native Shopify bundles.
You may want to try a third-party app like Profit Bundles. Bundles created through it behave like regular Shopify products, so they can be synced and tagged on channels like Instagram just like normal products.
Might be a good workaround until Shopify provides a native solution.
