Shopify Business Central API no longer supported.

Hello everyone,

We got the following error a few days ago.

The Shopify Admin API used by your current Shopify connector is no longer supported. To continue using the Shopify connector, please upgrade the Shopify connector and your Business Central environment.

I tried clearing the API version expiration date, but it did not work. At the moment, my BC environment is on version 24.5, and version 25.0 will only be available after January 21, as Microsoft will release the new version on that day. The Shopify app is on its latest version.

I am interested to understand how this works as well.

I was in a similar situation but was able to upgrade to BC25 last month, fixed the issue, but wondering what triggers the error…, is the BC version linked to a specific Shopify API therefore the only way of using a more recent API is to upgrade? Doesn’t seem right.

I updated to the latest version of BC, and it was fixed.
