Shopify Buy Button Integration on wordpress

Hello,

I recently built a wordpress site with the aim of utilizing my existing shopify for the sales and transaction end of things. My Domain that appears on my WP is correct however when the customer engages the Buy Button and Cart, The URL in the wi dow changes to my original free domain Shopify assigns you at the start of your account.

This may mislead my customers because domains don’t match and seems Scamy. However it is not.

Is there a work around for this? I thought to buy a new domain such as Mydomain.SecurePayments.com so it still has my Business Domain. .. Any Thoughts on this? Thanks!

Hi there,

If I were you, i would give create a subdomain and try to manage my shop from there.

For e.g. your WP site will be https://www.somedomainname.com

and your Shopify site will be https://shop.somedomainname.com
