A Shopify merchant encountered issues with the Collabs affiliate app where discount codes and affiliate links weren’t functioning properly. Initially, affiliate links returned 404 errors while discount codes failed to work.

Shopify support identified the root cause—the merchant needed to add “discount/” before “affiliate” in the Program page URL structure. This configuration fix resolved the affiliate link problems. A screenshot was shared showing the correct setup format.
I have recently signed up to collabs and recruited a few influencers. The code does not work for anyone using it and the affiliate link page just goes to a 404. I’ve created each individual influencer page and created URL redirects as a way to workaround the problem but it still doesn’t work.
What am I missing here? It appears the Collabs app is a complete dud at present.
It now seems after 24 hours of setting up the redirects everything is working including the discount codes.
Collabs app is notoriously pretty bad, did you read the reviews?
It may have improved since i used it, how is it?
It seems to be working now but wasn’t a simple process having to set up new dedicated pages and url redirects.
I was wrong. Its stopped working. Or at least the redirect page doesn’t work. Its reverted and goes to a 404.
The code however does work. Its just the affliate link. I’m astounded that Shopify are pushing this app when it’s clearly not working.
We don’t have custom storefront which I understand can be an issue with the redirect.
Perhaps someone in the Shopify team may want to respond?
