Just curious if anyone that is using ShipStation has found a workaround to not let Shopify send collective products over to ShipStation? The problem is when we fulfill an order it will also put tracking info on product from our supplier who has not fulfilled the order yet confusing our customers.
plus it in a way confuses the shipping department to looking for an item that does not exist in the store. Thought about automation with sku numbers but that rule creation could get crazy with a ton of variants on one product and products itself. Anyone know of a good workaround?
Tom, we use Shipstation and ALSO wished that we could control NOT having the Supplier products transfer to Shipstation. That interface currently has no flexibility or configurability. I would love if i.e. we could control by Shopify Tags. As we also need to manual “mark these lines shipped” once shipped by supplier so we not have an ever growing list of unshipped.
Related to this - I created a note on needing The Supplier Shipping Cost we pay (via automated Shopify Payments) to be able to report on, (versus mannualy “scraping” them from the Collective Payments screen - which is not practical with growing suppliers and many orders. (As we need to reduce that amount we pay to supplier from the (expected) AR as well. You have that issue as well or have solution? (That community thread is Not getting any follow up?).
