I’m a Shopify Collective supplier and some of our retail partners are selling on TikTok Shop. TikTok Shop will require starting in 2026 USPS labels to be printed through TikTok’s platform. This creates a challenge for us, being that we handle the fulfillment for Collective orders.
Does anyone know if Shopify is going to address this? Currently I’m not getting any solid answers through Shopify Support.

The reason Support is silent is that Shopify Collective currently does not support “Label Passthrough”. It can pass address data for you to buy a label, but it cannot pass a pre-generated PDF label from the Retailer down to you.
1. The “Seller Shipping” Exemption (Best Option)
TikTok Shop allows merchants to apply for an exemption to use their own shipping if they use 3PLs or dropshippers.
Action: Tell your Retailers to apply for “Seller Shipping” privileges in their TikTok settings immediately. If approved, you can continue buying labels and syncing tracking numbers as you do now.
2. The ShipStation Workaround (If Exemption Fails)
If they must use TikTok’s labels, you cannot use Shopify Collective for shipping.
Action: The Retailer connects their TikTok account to ShipStation (or Shippo). They give you a “Warehouse User” login. You log in to their ShipStation account to print the specific TikTok labels and stick them on the box.

Here’s a look at TikTok’s 2026 changes for shipping USPS:
“Starting January 2026, all USPS shipping labels must be purchased and generated through TikTok Shipping, meaning USPS tracking numbers from other sources will no longer be accepted for Seller Shipping orders. After this date, sellers using USPS labels not created via the TikTok Shop Seller Center will be redirected to use TikTok Shipping. If you prefer to work directly with carriers, please choose carriers other than USPS. To prepare for this update, review the TikTok Shipping User Guide and complete any necessary setup by December 31, 2025. If you use third-party services like Shopify, ShipStation, or AfterShip, please confirm whether they support TikTok Shipping. If you encounter any issues during the transition, please reach out to seller support or your account manager. Thank you for your cooperation.”
As you can see, this implies no 3rd party USPS labels can be used.
