The Shopify cookie banner and the translation via Translate & Adapt have not been working for a few days now.
I have already contacted support, but have been put off for two days and have been told “that the IT takes a little longer”.
The only problem is: it’s a data privacy issue.
Since yesterday I have not received any feedback on the current status and whether the problem has even been identified.
My settings are all correct, the banner is set up correctly and the translations are stored correctly. The banner worked perfectly for weeks. Then on Sunday I noticed that only the English banner is displayed on the main domain and only sporadically. The link to the privacy policy follows a dead link and all other subdomains no longer play the banner at all.
The funny thing is that in the preview of the Shopify cookie banner everything works perfectly!
I cancelled my last banner provider due to technical problems and switched to Shopify. Now there are technical problems again. It’s annoying!
Yesterday I even had a support employee who, after 10 minutes of exhausting chatting, actually asked me what a cookie banner actually is (!?). Unbelievable…
Are there others here who have this problem?
