In our app we use Shopify.country object to determine the current price of a product in a country, we then use Shopify.currency to get the current exchange rate.
However, we find that using Shopify.country to get the presentment price and currency sometimes has mismatch with what is in Shopify.currency.active, i.e. the presentment currency might be in GBP but Shopify.currency.active could be in USD while expected to be the same.
Is there a reason for this difference? Or what is the best way to get product contextual price along with the exchange rate.
