Looking for an APP or advice on how to add a feature during checkout, where customers can ADD TO STACK rather than ADD TO CART. This would allow for order stacking/combining a customers “single” orders into one larger order. The customer can control when their STACK/ITEMS on hold are shipped. During checkout the customer is charged for the item but not charged shipping, shipping would only be applied when the customer is in their account and can then select “SHIP MY STACK” the shipping would then be calculated. Our stock rotates daily, and we have had a lot of customers ask if they could just start a “HOLD PILE” and ship at the end of the month, mainly because a lot of our buyers are international and a single item is $18 to ship, but if they had 10+ items we could use our UPS flat box, and ship all for $40. Anybody know any apps or developers who have implemented this? I have screenshots of a store that has this feature, and I have personally used it on their site. The stack feature can also track pre-orders, which can be managed by the customer.
