Shopify deactivated my account.

Just recently got my store deactivated. I was selling several different pieces of inventory. I never resold anything but about 2 months ago shopify deactivated me for violating their AUP Policy.

I thoroughly looked through the policy and could not find where I violated at all.

I reach out to shopify every other day since then to get an update on the progress. Today finally I heard back from the team after 2 months waiting - they told me my business represents a level of risk shopify can’t allow. I was completely at odds with this statement considering I am 100% a legitimate business owner and have been selling on amz for the past 6 years in a much more stricht selling environment. I sent shopify all my business documentation. Business certificates, resellers permit. DBA certificate. But to no avail.

So far i haven’t heard back from anyone.

I am waiting to hear back from the team and will update here.

I just think it’s extremely unethical behavior on shopifys part to deactivate a seller on a whim and without a clear explanation.

I am questioning whether to take legal action as I have already invested an incredible amount of time and money into this business. What are your thoughts?
