I was trying to implement a .gif file onto a blog post as the feature image. Is that possible? I tried and it wouldn’t accept my gif file. If not, is Shopify going to be working on it?

Hi! Currently, gif format is not supported. The only way its load it through “Files” (https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-design/how-do-i-add-a-gif-to-my-product-page/m-p/471797#M122573)
Thank you. I guess I’ll just work with image files to stay consistent
