Shopify Domain Purchase Refunded, Not Connected to Store, but Unavailable when searched

So recently I bought a domain off of shopify, but when I added it to my website it said “Not connected”. I waited a little for it to connect and nothing, I dug into the purchase and found out the bill was outstanding → Paid → Refunded and upon checking my bank account noticed no purchase actually went through. So I figured the website was just still available but when I searched it on shopify it said ‘unavailable’. None of the instructions help and I’m still yet to see anything on this. I went on Tucows Domains and searched for the DNS provider of my domain and it sends me back to the Shopify help page. Would enjoy an answer ASAP because it costs me money to sit around and wait for an answer and I’m not the most satisfied with how this has turned out yet. So please and thank you for the help.
