So i’m confused…

I’m on my Meta account, which is linked to both my Instagram and Facebook accounts… it has also successfully synced my Shopify catalogue and I can see all my product items there on Meta (which tells me that if Meta’s synced to my catalogue then surely the Facebook & Instagram Shopify app is working).

HOWEVER

When I go to the Facebook & Instagram app on Shopify, it relentlessly fails to connect.

Is it all related?

Am I actually connected already because my catalogue has synced?

I’ve been told something about inserting meta pixels into my code, but apparently I can’t get these pixels until I connect in the first place?

Is my IG/ FB account too new to have the Shop feature, which is why it’s saying this feature isn’t available to you yet?

If anyone can help I would super appreciate it, as my business depends on social media to perform and getting no luck from Shopify support.
