Shopify First-time vs returning customer sales report mistake for One-time vs returning customers?

Has anyone notice this, but I found that Shopify mistakes the First-time vs returning customers sales report for One-time vs returning customers?

Like in this image, the first month of sales report, only one customer with more than 1 order but 4 of them marked as ‘Returning’, which they label as ‘lifetime returning’, not by that one month solely, which is wrong. It should be 7 new - 1 returning customer. This pattern continues for the rest of the report. Shopify should fix this
