Wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Now that Shopify has opted for chat support only it’s almost impossible to get things resolved effectively great job Shopify, you’re now ranked lowest in customer satisfaction next to USPS it has me shopping for another site to host my site and I’ve been a customer since 2011. To start. I have 5 months of payments currently pending. That’s 5 months of money that has greatly impacted my business and ability to operate and pay for basics such as rent and supplies.
I “chatted” with their AI bots then god knows who else next and was told. Call your bank it’s a banking issue. called my bank and they’re like. There is no issue on our end your are receiving payments just fine from everyone.
back to the enormously frustrating chat bot.
the second person was much more helpful in saying. I see the issue but I’m going to have to escalate it and you’ll get a message through your email. Still waiting on any contact from Shopify. That’s with 5 months of back pay owed. Ridiculous. Seriously considering litigation at this point. Not once was I contacted by Shopify about this issue and they have basically almost put us under at this point. I have zero way of contacting an actual person to get this resolved and clearly they’re in zero rush to pay me 5 months of payments that are just pending.
