Shopify has a rule in Shopify payments that you can only use iDeal if you have 100 orders paid via Shopify payments.
This is a stupid rule for The Netherlands, as 95% of the consumers pay with iDeal! This means as a shop owner, i will never hit those 100 orders. Shopify is forcing me to use an external provider and the charging me 2% per transaction. This is even worse than on WIX.
Please change this rule to at lease include the external iDeal payments into the count of the 100 orders

Until you complete 100 orders, you can:
• Promote Credit Card and Apple/Google Pay to generate more orders.
• Contact Shopify Support and request a review. If you previously sold on another platform (like WooCommerce or Wix), you can share your sales history as proof of a genuine business. In some cases, Shopify may manually bypass the limit.
If your store is new, it’s better to start with providers like Mollie or Adyen and accept the 2% fee initially to build your customer base. Once your orders increase, you can try switching back to Shopify Payments.

But its not a good advice. I have an existing store that i want to migrate to Shopify. I already have iDeal, but Shopify it forcing this trial period (again).
Secondly, the alternative payment like Mollie will be extra charged woth 2% transaction fee!!!
Thirdly, i will never hit the 100 orders via Shopify payments, as no body in NL is using credit cards. So, i will stay stuck with mollie frever
Update: i decided not to migrate to Shopify because of this. I will stay with WIX.
