I made a post a couple of weeks ago but no answer, so I figure I’d take my shot again.
I ran a website selling YuGiOh and Pokemon cards.
My website domain was https://www.yugioldschool.com/
This is my Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/yugioldschool/
I have been on Shopify since about 2019. On VocalReferences, I have 73 5 Star Reviews from my loyal customers and supporters who I have built over the years. I have never encountered a chargeback, any upset customers, or anything of that sort. Recently I ran a promotion to sell off cards at a faster rate because I literally have a room with hundreds of thousands of cards, bulk cards. This promotion did very well and I had seen an increase in traffic to my site.
All of a sudden after a few weeks, Shopify closes my shop without prior notice, then emails me saying I have violated their AUP (Acceptable Use Policy). When they linked the policy page, I reviewed it and came to the conclusion that I have not violated a single one of those terms. Not even remotely close!
I replied back with this in a detailed message, they replied back asking for proof of everything. I provided proof, they asked for additional proof and I continue providing them responses in a timely manner.
After all of this they ended the email chain by just simply stating once again that I have violated the AUP. They currently have over $50,000 frozen in my shopify balance account (A very very good reason not to use Shopify Balance by the way, you should not trust any entity that can just freeze your account without notice, and without probable cause.)
I am begging someone to please help, I don’t know how, I don’t know who but I simply just need help and guidance here to retrieve what is mines. My domain, my funds, all my hours of hard work and sweat that I’ve continuously poured into my business.
