Is anyone else experiencing an influx of annoying spam messages on Shopify Inbox?
Almost all messages in the last 2 weeks (Christmas and New Year weeks) appear to be generated by AI or bots.
Sadly thinking of switching it off again.
Am I alone?
Would you consider it a net benefit to your store, or do you think it’s space wasting clutter?
We are erring on a waste of time and clutter now
Maybe you can hide on homepage, and see if they stop.
Thanks Maximus3, we thought that was a great idea, but it seems it either hads to be on or off, so we are switching it off.

You’re not alone — many merchants report a spike in bot/AI spam in Shopify Inbox, especially around holidays. Workarounds: enable filters, use third-party chat apps with spam protection, or temporarily disable Inbox.
Thanks @topnewyork I didn’t think it would be just us, but its good to know. Sad to switch it off, but it was worth trying it out, maybe we will use it occasionally if we launch a new subscription.
