Shopify Inventory - Limiting Product Purchase by Location

Hello!

I have a product available in Location 1 and Location 2.

In Location 1, I have 3 of this product. In Location 2, I have 2 of this product.

If the person who is buying is currently in Location 2, I only want them to be able to buy 2. I try to add it to my cart, and it allows me to add 5, although only 2 are available at the current location.

If the product is not available at the actual location, I don’t want the client to be able to buy it from a different location.

I’ve tried all kinds of Order routing, and it keeps allowing me to buy the whole thing. I have the Shopify Basic Plan.

Are you using Shopify Markets currently for these locations?

Thank you for answering. Yes, I’m using Shopify Markets. I also removed the desired location from all the other markets, so that it is only available at the current market.
