Shopify is SO confusing - coming from WooCommerce - Help with running a time sale

Hi everyone,

We are new top Shopify and I am having a really hard time with it.

We want to run a sale for the next 10 days where all prices will be 25% OFF. I have created a discount code and installed an app called Automatic Discounts and Upsells.

But there is nothing to indicate the products are one sale (No Sale Badge) and there is nothing to show the discounted Price (No Strike Through Price and Discounted Price).

The only way I can get the Sale Badge and the Discounted Price to display is to edit every product and add the compare at price.

But that will not only takes HOURS but then then there is no way to specify the date range the discount applies

Can someone please explain how I can create a timed sale and have every product display a Sale Badge and the discounted price whilst the sale is active.

I have created a discount code in the shopify admin

If you go to this product that only has a regular price, you will see that there is nothing to indicate that there is a sale on

The price is not showing any discount, there is no sale badge

Whereas this product which has both the regular price and the compare at price does at least show a Sale badge and the different prices

The discount above is for orders so I tried making one for products and applied it the Beaker Bongs collection… still nothing

The products with discounts are ones that I’ve put two prices - but I don’t want to have to put 2 prices.

So what am I doing wrong?

The only thing that works is the discount is applied in the cart but I want the discount to be more obvious to my visitors

It can’t be this hard to setup a 25% sale for all products, with sale badges on everything and showing what they will save
