Don’t use Shopify for your business—it’s been terrible for me! I’ve been facing serious issues for the last 15 days, and my only mistake was choosing Shopify for my store. I’m still being punished for it.
I created a store on Shopify, designed it, added my domain, and verified it. But when I tried to buy the subscription with my card, I was suddenly banned from using the dashboard. I received only one email from Shopify saying I didn’t have permission to access the dashboard.
I started chatting with support, and every time, I had to explain the issue from scratch. I kept getting the same response: they would escalate a ticket and get back to me “as soon as possible.” Clearly, “as soon as possible” means something different at Shopify because I haven’t received any further responses since the termination email and the form I submitted. Support is busy from Monday to Friday, and after Friday, I have to wait until the next Monday. It feels like they’re always busy and never actually resolve anything.
After much frustration and no response regarding why my store was inactive, I created a new store with a different card. This time, I wasn’t banned, but I ran into another problem. I couldn’t verify my old brand domain with the new store, even after changing the TXT record file.
I had to contact support again, only to find out that the domain is still pointing to the inactive previous store. I requested that they remove the domain so I can add it to my new store, but I’m back to square one. The support team continues to give me the same excuses with no progress.
If you need it, here’s the ticket ID: 52d5ebeb-d290-4fd1-8b76-6e58eac15578.
The old domain is skinx.pk, and the new store URL is https://d6a03f-fd.myshopify
I’m now regretting choosing Shopify and considering other platforms that might have better support
