Hello everyone, I’ve been encountering an issue where Shopify doesn’t load correctly when I use Safari as my browser. The page either loads partially or not at all, and it’s been quite frustrating. I’ve tried clearing my cache and cookies, ensuring my Safari browser is up to date, and even disabling extensions, but nothing seems to work.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with Shopify on Safari? If so, I’d greatly appreciate any tips or solutions you might have found. How did you manage to resolve this issue? Did you contact Shopify support, and if yes, what was their advice?
You can visit the website where I’m experiencing this here .
Any insights or experiences you can share would be incredibly helpful. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Hi @saqib-786
This is Amelia at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.
You’re definitely not alone! Several people experience issues with Shopify loading incorrectly on Safari. Here’s what you can try based on what others have found helpful:
Common Fixes:
-
Clear Website Data: Go beyond cookies and cache by clearing all website data for Shopify in Safari. This might remove temporary files causing conflicts. Here’s how:
- Open Safari.
- Go to “Safari” in the top menu bar.
- Click on “Preferences.”
- Select “Privacy.”
- Click on “Manage Website Data.”
- Search for “Shopify” and click “Remove” next to it.
-
Test in Incognito Mode: Open a new incognito window in Safari. This opens a fresh browsing session without cookies or cached data. If Shopify loads in incognito mode, it suggests an issue with your usual browsing data.
Hoping my solution helps you solve your problem.
Best regards,
Amelia | PageFly
The issue here is that something is activating security mechanisms in the Safari browser, so it’s not about cache or cookies. It’s not a Safari issue, it’s a Shopify issue that didn’t care about developing with this browser.
I am facing the same issue and more projects, did someone find the solution??
