I am looking for similar functionality as the new Markets but for city or at minimum state level.

Specifically, I’m looking for the ability to hide products in certain cities and, if possible, change price based on city.

Is there an app that enables this? Most of the geo apps seem to piggy back off of Markets and therefore do not support state level filtering.

One approach I thought of would be to use Markets and recode country names for state names. I imagine there is somewhere in the code I can change the country names and then rather than use the IP address for location, I’d use one of the Geo apps that prompts the user to select country (state). I know this would render certain features useless (like currency conversion) but since the main thing I’m after is product and page filtering maybe this ugly solution will do the trick?

At this time, Shopify Markets features are designed to be a cross-border management tool for international selling purposes. At this time, we do not have features that operate at the city/state level.

However, I’m confident one of our Shopify experts would be able to help you accomplish this at a reasonable price.
