I’ve been playing around with Shopify Markets to get a feel of it before we launch European stores later this year.
When we plan to launch, we only want to launch with 1 or 2 products - not our full catalogue of products. Is this possible and how would we go about doing this?

Is Sales Channel the same as stores though? i.e. if I launched a European store, would I have the option to exclude a product from that ‘Sales Channel’?
Hi @wongston . Right now this isn’t possible natively within Shopify Markets, however it is something we are working on building at the moment.

We are also looking to use Markets to launch in the UK/EU.
We need to send our products to a 3PL, so that we can have reasonable delivery times, however the issue is we have thousands of SKUs, so this is not reasonable to start with
We want to send our 10 best sellers and launch with these, and grow/add over time
We need a way to hide products, so that only these 10 show on the UK/EU domains

We’ve had to resort to finagling with tags and ASL in the meantime for our European Launch (UK-based store).
We’d love to join any beta for such a feature, or at least be notified when it’s launched.

Hi - We are wanting to offer a staggered INTL shipping offering. We are starting with USA.
Within our USA shipping profile i have nominated only 23 products i want to be available to the USA market vs 66 available within AUS (our primary market).
Does this mean they will still be able to purchase any product from the website, even though only certain products are nominated for that market within shipping profile?
Essentially i cannot select specific products to sell internationally at this point in time ?

Frustratingly, if you have stock, it will show and allow you to proceed to checkout.
However, if there’s no shipping profile to get the specific item to the customer, it won’t allow them to complete it.
We’ve been using the AdvanceStoreLocalisation app to show/hide, which seems sufficient, but, a bit overkill for what should be part of the core product!

@coleatkinson Is there a way to filter excluded products, to prevent customers from seeing products that are not part of the market?
Redirecting them to the frontpage seems like a bad user experience, would be nice to be able to just exclude it from the loop.
