Shopify Markets Translation for Homepage Modules

Hi All,
We are using Shopify Markets and we have some questions about the possibility to display content for some markets. For example, if we have a special event in the UK only, we’d like to display a slideshow or collection promotion in that market and not the others.
These questions apply for the translation of slideshows, promo grids, custom html content and other modules at homepage, and for collection promotions.

  • How do I indicate that a particular content is for one market and not the others?- How do I translate content like slideshows, custom html content or collection promotions?

The modules mentioned above are not available for transaltion from the translate apps or language settings.

To my knowledge there isn’t an easy way to do it. That’s one on the reasons why I prefer to create a separate store instead of using Shopify Markets.

There is however a way to hide a section, but it will require some coding. Basically you can use the localization object (localization.country.iso_code) to specifically hide or display content for select countries.

Then you can create new sections that will only display if the currently selected country is UK.
