Shopify Markets vs Magento Multistore Inquery

Hello Community,

I’d like to explore more the topic of migration from Magento into Shopify. Taking into consideration the aspect of having multiple stores, my questions are:

  1. what would be the best option in Shopify- Shopify multi-store/Shopify markets? Is it possible in Shopify to set different payment methods per site/store so that each website can use its merchant of record?

  2. Does Shopify allow to run region-specific marketing campaigns and offer discounts per website?

Would appreciate hearing the expert opinions.

you will be using multiple stores on Shopify with single fulfilment location or each store will have different inventory?

If you choose to go with Shopify Plus, you will have the option to choose Shopify multi store, it lets you create up to 10 stores and each store will be an individual store, you can have different payment methods, pricing etc but it is quite complex to manage because each store is a different store.

or you can look into Shopify Markets but it doesn’t allow different merchant of record.
