I have created a unique theme that is just for several products. this product would have a dropdown that would require customers to select a line attribute. and once the line attribute is selected, and product is added to cart, customers would be able to see it in the checkout page, order status page and order confirmation email. however, as the product is now changed to a bundle item, because of invoice issues, the line attribute would be places to the parent item. and in the after checking out, the parent item would be replaced with the child item, making the line attribute disappear from all the places. As we are sell the item as a lucky bag. the line attribute is required as a way to know the shirt size our customer wanted. and the normal dropdowns will be use to select the color and the size of the jeans.

May i ask how about in the order confirmation email and the order status page? will it also show the parent item?
Another note,
Currently, in the shopify official bundle, we are not only showing the jeans, but not the tops. so the bundle will only contain one product, but our invoice would contain other products as we have another partner creating it for us. it is achievable by the official app, but we could not show the line item, which we needed for the tops
