Hi @DTang ,
I’m Kate from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:
1. Have a favicon for your store
Whether you’re putting the final touches on your online store or it’s already up and running, don’t overlook the significance of adding a favicon! It’s a small yet crucial detail that can enhance your website’s appearance and reinforce your brand.
By including a favicon on your website, you can effectively communicate to your potential customers that they have arrived at your company’s page.
You can check this Shopify guide on how to add a favicon - https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/images/add-favicon
2. Resize the sticky header
It’s great when you have a sticky header which makes it more convenient for your vistors to navigate around the site.
Another thing you might care is that the sticky header is taking significant space while scrolling up and down. So I would like to suggest that you remove the white spacing on the top and bottom of the header to save more space to showcase the products.
3. Change hero banner
The banner will create the very first impression on your visitor as it is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. It’s great when your current hero banner can describe exactly what you’re selling in 5 seconds first.
Unfortunately, the current banner seems to describe your product as cups instead of clothing as it mainly focuses on the red cup. That’s why I suggest you change it, and if possible, please make it full width.
4. Add CTA button to hero banner
A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.
With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc.
It’s such a loss when you missed a “Shop now” button on your banner. A CTA button here will urge visitors to make the purchase and it is a great way to optimize your home page.
And please rest assured that all CTA buttons should have the same styling to boost the conversion rate.
5. Update testimonials - customer reviews:
This section will help you build customers’ trust. You should show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
Currently, the “Verified Reviews” make it less trustworthy and the star rating is displayed as text instead of icons make itself less eye catching.
Here is a good demo for your reference:
6. Have more sections
The more information you provide your customers with, the better they understand about your brand as well as your products. As a result, they are more willing to make a purchase.
Some sections you can refer to:
-
Brand story: A business can stand out with its brand story. A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more attractive.
-
Product details: One of the best-sellers from your store should be showcased to catch more attention.
-
Collections: Define the options in categories for your customers to easily approach what they need to buy.
And that’s my feedback! Hope it helps you boost the conversion rate.
Cheers!
