Curious if anyone else having issue where an order will fall through the cracks on Admin?
We’ve run into several times now over the last few months. We become aware that theres an issue when a customer contacts us for order status and we can’t find the order–until they send us the order confirmation email.
- Order is Legit, Paid for and in Unfulfilled Status (no fraud flags)
- Item is in stock
- Fulfillment status is Unfulfilled
- Order search by customer name or order number will NOT index the order “No Orders Yet”. General search (search bar vs orders) will typically not turn up the customers name or order number either.
Yet, if we page back through admin day by day, we can find the order in unfulfilled status. Additionally, if the customer furnishes the order confirmation email, the link will reference order on admin.
We’ve been advised that it’s a cache issue with our store thats been fixed and then days or weeks later, the same happens. Last time it came to our attention was yesterday when customer wanted to know why they hadn’t received shipment confirmation. The only way to get to order was the confirmation email link or paging back through orders on the admin, which turned up the unfulfilled order.
Anyone else experiencing this? Noticing what appears to be related issue with another order from this morning.
