Shopify Orders to Itemized Quickbooks

Hello!

I want my Shopify sales to show up itemized in Quickbooks. My accountant wants to track sales by specific products. Right now every sale I get shows up on our Quickbooks sheets as just “Shopify Sale”. I am hoping to get it to show up as “hats” or “Women’s T-shirt” similar to how it is in Shopify.

Does anyone know how to do this? Any information will help. Thanks!!

I use Quickbooks Sync by Bold Commerce. Note this is for Quickbooks online. Not sure how it works for Quickbooks desktop. You can “map” Shopify SKUs to your Product/Service list in Quickbooks. There is lots of room for customization and I’d recommend you speak with a Bold Commerce rep. This app saves my TONS of time not entering orders manually.

You need an integration that creates an invoice with a description of the items, not an app that sums up the transactions.

My client also wants this process, and we use QuickBook Connector.

Hi! Our app, WeIntegrate, is brand new to the Shopify App Store. We automate the sync between Shopify and QBO instantly and very accurately, with an option to a) load items details including variants (if applicable) and b) create new items in QBO that don’t yet exist. We offer a free 15-day trial to kick our tires before committing. Feel free to reach out to me for any further assistance.

Can someone confirm if the syncs work both directions so that sales in my retail shop reduce product quantity in shopify and my sales in shopify reduce my inventory in QB

Hello Diane, do you find it easier to create all your inventory in Shopify then sync down to QuickBooks Online or the other way around? I know Shopify doesn’t have any provisions for tracking cost of goods sold so not sure if that plays a part is which side it’s best to create the items in.

Thanks for any info you can provide!
