Shopify Partner

In September 2022 we hired a Shopify Partner, recommended by Shopify, to transition our current Shopify store to a new Shopify store design. We designed every page and every detail the new shop needed to have. We provided all that information to the Shopify Partner as part of the price/service negotiation. The partner knew everything the new site needed to have, we provided all the imagery, everything. We’ve had functioning websites since 1998 so we are not new to this activity. Our current site has been on Shopify since 2019. The migration to the new site was scheduled to be completed by 1 December, it currently is nowheres near being complete. It is evident this vendor has no ability to meet our agreement and I am at the end of my patience and do not know what to do. Again, this was a vendor recommended by Shopify, the vendor knew exactly what they were bidding on and they have completely failed. It now appears the vendor continues to stall and not carry through and I believe they are simply making this more and more difficult so that we walk away. What recourse do I have and or any recommendations on what we should do next? I want very much to stay with Shopify I think their platform and service is great but I need some advice on what to do about this untenable situation. Thanks
