I’ve developed a store for a client in my Shopify Developers account. I’m building the frame work ( navigation, product and catalogue styles etc) for my client to take over and enter his products in.
I’m getting near the end of my role and I have questions about the next few steps.

When should I do the domain transfer? before or after transferring the site to the client?

This store is more for information than sales, in fact the client won’t be selling anything. How do I ensure that he gets a reduced cost on his plan.

Will the store function as a website functions? ( searchable, email connected etc) even though it’s not for on line selling?
