I’m looking to enable Shopify Payments. Can one EIN/FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) can be used for multiple shops? If so, can it be used with different accounts?

Don here from Shopify.
I just confirmed with our billing team that you should be able to use the same EIN on multiple, separate stores you open here no issue.
Can you clarify what you mean in the second part of your query here, about using it with different accounts, just so I can be sure we’re on the same page here?
It would usually be the case that you have just one payments account relevant to one Shopify account, but do feel free to provide more info so we can be as accurate as possible here.
Are you just looking to get started with using Shopify, or are you looking to open more stores?
